Find, Compare and Plan: Four Aircraft Tools
Pick a tool, enter your mission and get an answer in seconds. Everything runs in your browser on the 39-aircraft database below, and nothing you enter is stored.
Aircraft Finder
Tell us your mission and we will list the aircraft in our database that fit, closest fit first (the shortest range that still meets your needs).
Choose your requirements and press Find my aircraft.
Aircraft Comparison
Pick two or three aircraft to compare specifications side by side. The table updates as you choose.
Range Calculator
Enter a route distance and see every aircraft in the database that can fly it nonstop. Distances below are great-circle (straight-line) figures between the main airports.
Published range assumes a typical passenger load, standard reserves and normal conditions. Fuller cabins, headwinds and airport restrictions shorten it.
Charter Quote Builder
Add your trip details and send them to our advisory team by email or WhatsApp. The message is pre-filled for you, so there is no form to retype.
We do not publish live charter rates because pricing depends on aircraft positioning, route and availability on the day.
Charter vs. Ownership Advisor
A quick, qualitative read on whether charter, a jet card, fractional or whole ownership fits your flying pattern. For an exact cost model, our team will run the numbers with you.

Longest-Range Private Jets
The longest published range in our database belongs to the Gulfstream G800 at 8,200 nm, ahead of the Bombardier Global 8000 at 8,000 nm. These are manufacturer figures for a typical passenger load.
Gold bars mark aircraft still in development. Gulfstream G650ER production ended in February 2025, so it is available on the pre-owned market only. Use the Range Calculator above to check your own route.

04 · Charter or own?
Charter, Jet Card, Fractional or Ownership?
Your annual flight hours are the biggest single factor. This is a general rule of thumb, not financial advice.
| Flight hours per year | Usually fits best | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Under 50 hours | On-demand charter or a jet card programme | Avoids crew, hangar, insurance and depreciation costs. |
| 50 to 150 hours | Jet card or fractional ownership | More price certainty and priority access than ad-hoc charter. |
| 150 to 300 hours | Fractional ownership, or whole ownership of a light or midsize jet | Whole ownership starts to compete; a cost model is worthwhile. |
| 300+ hours | Whole aircraft ownership (new or pre-owned) | Typically the most cost-efficient with a consistent mission profile. |
Cost
Lowest total cost matters most to you, so compare the hourly cost per seat once our team has run the numbers for your actual trips.
Flexibility
Scheduling flexibility matters most to you. Charter and jet cards usually give the fastest access to a wide range of aircraft types and home bases.
Consistency
Flying the same aircraft and crew matters most to you. Fractional or whole ownership serves that better than on-demand charter.
Privacy
Privacy and control matter most to you. Whole ownership gives the most control, followed by fractional and jet card programmes.

Private Jet Tools FAQ
What is the longest-range private jet?
In our database it is the Gulfstream G800, with a published range of 8,200 nm, followed by the Bombardier Global 8000 at 8,000 nm. Ranges are manufacturer-published figures quoted for a typical passenger load, so real trips with more passengers, bags or headwinds can be shorter.
Which is the fastest business jet?
Bombardier says the Global 8000 can reach Mach 0.95 and cruises at up to Mach 0.94, which it describes as the fastest of any business jet in production. It was certified by Transport Canada and the FAA in 2025, entered service in December 2025, and received EASA certification in January 2026.
How do I compare two private jets?
Use the Compare tab above. Pick two or three aircraft and you will see passengers, range, cruise speed, engines, takeoff and landing distances, an indicative price band and status side by side. For a charter decision, range and cabin size matter most; for a buying decision, add runway needs, operating costs and resale value.
Why is the real range of a private jet lower than the published figure?
Manufacturers quote maximum range with a set number of passengers, a particular cruise speed and standard fuel reserves. More passengers or baggage, higher speed, headwinds, diversions and airport restrictions all reduce the distance an aircraft can fly nonstop. Planners usually leave a margin; the Range Calculator lets you add one.
Which private jets can fly from India to London or New York nonstop?
Delhi to London is about 3,630 nm in a straight line. 25 of the 39 aircraft in our database list a published range at or above that, starting with the Embraer Legacy 650E (3,900 nm). Delhi to New York is about 6,350 nm, and 14 aircraft list a range of at least that, starting with the Boeing BBJ MAX 9 (6,400 nm). Real routings add distance, so check any shortlist with our team before relying on a nonstop flight.
Should I charter, use a jet card, buy a fraction or own a jet?
As a rule of thumb, under about 50 flight hours a year favours charter or a jet card, 50 to 150 hours favours a jet card or fractional share, 150 to 300 hours is the grey zone between fractional and whole ownership, and 300 hours or more usually favours owning the aircraft. The Charter and Ownership Advisor tab gives a quick read, and our team can run a cost model for your trips.
How many aircraft are in the database and how reliable are the figures?
The database lists 39 business jets, VIP airliners and turboprops. Figures come from manufacturers and were reviewed in October 2026, including status changes such as the Global 8000 entering service and the Gulfstream G650 production line closing. Treat them as planning aids and ask us to confirm exact performance for your trip.
Can Safe Fly Aviation arrange charter or purchase of these aircraft?
Yes. Safe Fly Aviation arranges private jet charter and aircraft acquisition worldwide through its network of operators and owners. Send us your route, dates and passengers through the quote form, WhatsApp or email, and we will come back with options. Tool results are indicative and are not quotes.
