Fifteen Years,
One Standard.
Safe Fly Aviation began with two people, one aircraft brokerage desk and a conviction that Indian clients deserved the same standard of aviation service as anywhere in the world. Today that desk spans sixty countries.
A Brokerage Built on Answered Calls
Safe Fly Aviation Services Private Limited was founded in 2010 by Sudip Sharma and Poonam Sharma. The premise was simple, and it has not changed: aviation is a business of moments that cannot be rescheduled — a board meeting, a transplant, a cargo window, an aircraft on ground.
We are not an operator. We are a brokerage and services company, which means our value is judgement rather than inventory: knowing which aircraft is right, which operator is genuinely available, which permit will take four hours instead of four days, and what a fair number looks like.
That work now spans private jet and helicopter charter, aircraft sales and acquisition, engine, APU and landing gear trading, air ambulance and medical evacuation, and cargo — delivered from New Delhi to clients across India, the Middle East and Europe.
“The aircraft is the easy part. Everything around it is the job.”
Safe Fly Aviation
We do not own the fleet, so we have no reason to sell you the wrong aircraft. The recommendation follows the mission.
A live operations desk, around the clock. Quotes in sixty minutes; AOG and medevac handled in the hour they arrive.
Operator certification, insurance and airworthiness records checked before an aircraft is ever offered to a client.
Based at IGI Airport with a network reaching sixty-plus countries — permits, handling and crew coordinated end to end.
From One Desk to Sixty Countries
Every year on this track represents a capability we did not have before — and a client who needed it first.
Safe Fly Aviation Services Private Limited is established in New Delhi by Sudip Sharma and Poonam Sharma, broking charter for corporate and private clients.
Helicopter charter and event aviation are added — weddings, pilgrimages and site visits that fixed-wing simply cannot serve.
Operations extend internationally. Overflight and landing permits, ground handling and multi-jurisdiction crew coordination become core competencies.
Safety and vetting processes are formalised against international benchmarks, and the company earns industry recognition for operational standards.
A year that reshaped aviation. Medical evacuation, repatriation and cargo charter move from occasional work to a permanent capability.
Fifteen years on: 15,000+ flight hours, sixty-plus countries, and a business spanning charter, aircraft sales, engine and asset trading, medevac and freight.
Safe Fly Aviation, In Facts
The People Who Answer
Founder-led since 2010 — the same two people who signed the first charter still set the standard for the last one.
Sudip Sharma
Sudip leads Safe Fly's commercial and operational direction, with more than fifteen years in aviation broking. His work spans charter sourcing, aircraft acquisition and the engine and asset trading side of the business.
He remains directly involved in complex missions — the medevac at midnight, the AOG that grounds a fleet — on the principle that judgement of that kind should not be delegated.
Poonam Sharma
Poonam oversees operational governance and client experience, building the processes that turn a brokerage into an institution — vetting, documentation, compliance and the standards every quotation is held to.
Her focus on service consistency is why clients who arrived for a single flight in 2012 are still calling the same desk today.
