How much does a private jet to Dubai cost?
A one-way charter to Dubai typically costs about $13,000 to $29,000 from Mumbai or Delhi, about $46,000 to $91,000 from London or Singapore, and about $124,000 to $249,000 from New York. These are estimates built from published hourly rates and calculated flight times, before airport fees, taxes and positioning. The firm price depends on which aircraft is available on your date.
Why Dubai Is a Busy Private Jet Destination
Dubai South, the home of Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), handled 20,289 business aviation movements in 2025, up 17% on 2024 and the highest private jet activity ever recorded in the emirate, according to Dubai South. It put the growth down to year-round business, exhibition and leisure demand, including the Dubai Airshow, GITEX Global and the World Government Summit. That figure covers Dubai South only and excludes Dubai International (DXB).
For you, a busy market means the right aircraft and the right slot can be tight around big events, so it pays to send your dates early. The corridors we are asked about most are London to Dubai, India to Dubai, New York to Dubai and Singapore to Dubai, and the route costs below cover each.
Cost by route
Private Jet to Dubai: Estimated One-Way Cost by Route
Indicative estimates for the whole aircraft, not per seat. They are not quotes, and they exclude fees, taxes and positioning.
| Route | Distance | Aircraft class | Flight time | Estimated charter cost (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| London Luton (LTN) to Dubai South (DWC) | 2,980 nm | Large-cabin long range (Challenger 605 or Falcon 7X class) | about 6 h 40 min | $46,000 – $86,000 |
| Mumbai (BOM) to Dubai (DXB) | 1,040 nm | Super-midsize (Challenger 350 or Falcon 2000 class) | about 2 h 35 min | $13,000 – $26,000 |
| Delhi (DEL) to Dubai (DXB) | 1,180 nm | Super-midsize (Challenger 350 or Falcon 2000 class) | about 2 h 55 min | $15,000 – $29,000 |
| Singapore (SIN) to Dubai South (DWC) | 3,160 nm | Large-cabin long range (Challenger 605 or Falcon 7X class) | about 7 h 00 min | $49,000 – $91,000 |
| New York Teterboro (TEB) to Dubai South (DWC) | 5,950 nm | Ultra-long range (Gulfstream G650 or Global 7500 class) | about 12 h 25 min | $124,000 – $249,000 |
How we estimated. We calculated great-circle distance, assumed average cruise speeds of 450, 470 and 490 knots for the three classes plus 0.3 hours for climb and approach, and multiplied by published hourly-rate ranges of $5,000 to $10,000 (super-midsize), $7,000 to $13,000 (heavy) and $10,000 to $20,000 (ultra-long-range) from SkyAccess. Results are rounded to the nearest $1,000. Real quotes also depend on the operator, the aircraft’s base, the season and the day of the week. Flights from Dubai are covered on our Dubai charter page.
What Is Not in the Estimate
- Airport and handling fees. FBO handling, landing and parking charges are billed on top of the hourly rate, and they vary by airport.
- Permits and slots. Landing and overflight permits, and the slot at DXB, carry their own charges.
- Positioning. If the aircraft is based away from your departure airport, the operator may add a repositioning (ferry) charge.
- International fees. SkyAccess puts international fees at $5,000 to $15,000 on transatlantic trips, so allow for it on a New York flight.
- Extras. Catering, fuel surcharges, de-icing, overnight crew costs and taxes are usually added separately.
Save money
Empty Leg Flights to Dubai
An empty leg is a repositioning flight: the aircraft has to fly to or from Dubai without passengers, and the operator sells the seat-free sector at a discount. Elysium quotes 50 to 75 percent off the standard hourly rate, with an average of 50 to 65 percent. SkyAccess gives a wider 25 to 75 percent range. It is the same aircraft, crew and safety standard as a normal charter.
Fixed route and time
You fly the operator’s route, usually in a two to four hour departure window, so it suits flexible travellers.
Late availability
Many legs appear only 12 to 72 hours before departure, so they are rarely a fit for a trip planned weeks ahead.
Cancellation risk
If the original charter is cancelled, the empty leg disappears. SkyAccess puts industry cancellation risk at 10 to 15 percent.
Fees still apply
You still pay destination FBO and handling costs, which the discount does not cover.
We do not publish a live empty-leg list on this page. Send your route and dates and our desk will check operators’ repositioning flights to and from Dubai.
Choosing an aircraft
Which Private Jet Suits Your Dubai Flight?
Match the aircraft to the distance. The ranges below are manufacturer or published figures, which assume set reserves and conditions, so real range varies with passengers, weather and winds.

Challenger 3500
Super-midsize for India, the Gulf and the Mediterranean. Up to 10 passengers and 3,400 nm range, per the Bombardier factsheet.

Gulfstream G650
Ultra-long-range. About 7,000 nm and up to 19 passengers, with 11 to 18 seats typical, per Luna Jets. Our G650 guide has more.

Bombardier Global 7500
Ultra-long-range with four living spaces and an available master suite, 7,700 nm, up to 19 passengers (Bombardier). See our Global 7500 guide.
| Aircraft | Range | Passengers | Best fit for Dubai |
|---|---|---|---|
| Challenger 3500 | 3,400 nm | Up to 10 | India, Gulf and short European legs. London and Singapore are near its limit, so plan a larger jet or a fuel stop. |
| Falcon 7X | 5,950 nm | Up to 19 | London, Paris and Singapore nonstop. New York is at the limit of its range, so a G650 or Global 7500 is safer. |
| Gulfstream G650 | 7,000 nm | Up to 19 | New York nonstop, and long trips with more passengers. |
| Global 7500 | 7,700 nm | Up to 19 | New York and further, with a larger cabin layout. |

Airports and permits
DXB or DWC: Which Dubai Airport for a Private Jet?
Dubai has two airports used by business aviation. Neither is always better, so the choice depends on your destination, aircraft and slot.
Dubai International (DXB)
The closer airport to the city centre. ExecuJet Middle East and Jet Aviation have FBOs here, and Jetex runs an operations centre. DXB is slot-coordinated and more constrained than DWC, so request the slot early. Good for short business stays in the city.
Al Maktoum International (DWC)
On the southern edge of Dubai. The Flying Engineer lists five FBOs and private terminals here: Jetex, Jet Aviation, ExecuJet Middle East, DC Aviation Al-Futtaim and Falcon Aviation. The ground transfer into the city is longer, and handlers advise not to promise a fixed driving time.
Landing Permits and Lead Times
Non-scheduled commercial flights need a landing permit for each UAE airport, and the permit is tied to that airport. LFS gives typical lead times of 48 to 72 hours for landing permits and 24 to 48 hours for overflight permits. Slot requests at DXB should go in alongside the permit rather than after it. Your operator and its handler apply for these, and we coordinate the timing with you. Check visa and entry rules for every passenger well before departure, because they depend on nationality.

FAQ
Private Jet to Dubai: Your Questions Answered
How much does a private jet to Dubai cost?
As a guide, a one-way charter costs about $13,000 to $29,000 from Mumbai or Delhi on a super-midsize jet, about $46,000 to $91,000 from London or Singapore on a large-cabin jet, and about $124,000 to $249,000 from New York on an ultra-long-range jet. These are estimates from published hourly rates and calculated flight times. They exclude fees, taxes and positioning, so ask for a written quote for your date.
How long is the flight to Dubai by private jet?
Estimated flight times are about 2 h 35 min from Mumbai, 2 h 55 min from Delhi, 6 h 40 min from London and 7 h 00 min from Singapore. New York to Dubai takes about 12 h 25 min. The exact time depends on the aircraft, winds and routing.
Should I fly into DXB or DWC?
Dubai International (DXB) is closer to the city, but it is slot-coordinated and busier. Al Maktoum International (DWC) sits on the southern edge of Dubai and has several dedicated business aviation terminals. The better choice depends on where you are going, your aircraft and the slots available, and we can compare both for your trip.
Can I fly to Dubai on an empty leg?
Sometimes. An empty leg is a repositioning flight that the operator would otherwise fly without passengers, and brokers commonly quote 50 to 75 percent off the standard hourly rate. The route and the departure window are fixed, and the flight can be cancelled if the original charter is. Ask our desk and we will check what is available to or from Dubai for your dates.
What permits does a private jet need to land in Dubai?
Non-scheduled commercial flights need a landing permit for each UAE airport, and the typical lead time is 48 to 72 hours. Overflight permits usually take 24 to 48 hours. Your operator and its handler apply for these, and slots at DXB are best requested in parallel.
Which private jet is best for a flight to Dubai?
For India, the Gulf and short European legs, a super-midsize jet such as the Challenger 3500 (3,400 nm) is usually enough. London and Singapore are close to 3,000 nm away, so a large-cabin long-range jet is safer. New York is about 5,950 nm away, which is at the limit of a Falcon 7X and calls for a Gulfstream G650 or Bombardier Global 7500 class aircraft.
How far ahead should I book a private jet to Dubai?
Book as early as you can, because permits and airport slots set the minimum lead time. Urgent requests are possible depending on the aircraft and the airport, so contact our 24/7 desk with your route and dates and we will tell you what is realistic.
